Fluorescent thermometer setup. (SUNY at Stony Brook)
 
            This setup was built in the scope of fluorescence detection based sensors design. The primary purpose of the system was to prove the concept of measuring the fluorescence parameters of certain materials in order to determine the environmental characteristics such as temperature, pressure, oxygen concentration.

Standard components used:
1. 11"11 dielectric optical breadboard - 3.
2. 11"3 dielectric optical breadboard - 1.
3. 2" 2d positioning unit - 5.
4. 2" C-Mount adjustable post - 1.
5. Breadboard connectors - 5.
6. Focusing light source/C-Mount - set of 15.
7. Power driver for focusing light source - 1.
8. 11" breadboard extension -2.

Custom components designed:
1. Custom 11"11 dielectric optical breadboard with 2" round opening in the center - 1.
2. Holder for crystal heater - 1.
3. Cylindrucal legs - 9.

The project finished in : 25 days
